    Hi

I have a clio on order since dec/jan which in the price included 5 years warranty which is worth over 550 euro. However since then 5 years warranty is now standard on the clio. They have on the press release that it only affects orders since March, when I'm ready to collect should I be asking for 500 off? Or something else?

Just wanted to get thoughts as i don't want be rude or piss the dealer off.

    Cheers

You order is before March so I doubt it. No harm seeing if the dealer can do something but it's pretty explicit from what you said above.

Ask the dealer if they're willing to throw something else in.

Just to add a few more flames to the fire, they are also doing 5000km of free fuel. So in all its probably over 1000 euro which is the saving. It would actually be cheaper to cancel and order again !

tell the dealer that.... might helop him give you something....especially if he thinks you may go somewhere else,

IMO the warranty thing is a loser as you are no worse off (newer orders are better off, but the petrol thing you should insist on having....

Did these changes affect either the list price or the available discount?

You need to find out. Increases in specification often come with a corresponding increase in price.

Yes you would think so. I have the price list as of 1st march. Same pricing quite annoying :)

Just make sure that nothing else has changed - ie that they're not giving smaller discounts now or the like. How much deposit have you paid?
