Ruined hip, nasty hernia, ****ed ad/abductors, need exercises.

    Quite literally, I need a list of upper body exercises that - in your opinion - won't affect my injuries?

    Ideas plz, or I'll have to spend the next 3 months trolling :P

    I'd say knitting would be your safest bet...careful not to put your back out though!! :P

    Have you looked into actually getting these sorted? Lifting with a hernia isn't a clever idea at all. As burkatron said.. knitting :pac:

    Ha, I genuinely want to learn to knit, might take you up on that!

    Everything is being squared away surgically over the next few months but my next major review is mid summer! Until then the doc and physio agreed that I can do upper body and some cycling/rowing to keep fitness up.

    I gave myself a nasty spot of repetitive strain in my elbow from knitting, srsly. Crocheting though, you can't beat it
