Already have a Galaxy S3 but not keen on bringing it to work. Dust and falling are an issue. Thinking of buying a second phone for work. Blackberry Curve 9320 or Sony Xperia J are what I'm thinking. Budget is around €200, any other recommendations

I know, but if you want a different phone because you are worried about breaking it, what happens when you smash the 200 quid phone, buy another? Just get a cobble for work and leave the S3 in the car if your worried about it.....

If you did buy a cheaper smartphone it would drive you nuts. Having a s3 and then going to a cheaper phone the difference in speed/performance would be very notacible.

Just get a very good case for your s3. I've brought my s3 to a construction site numerous times this year without issue, it's still going strong.

    Motorola Defy Mini/Defy/Defy Plus
    Dust proof
    Water proof (esp the plus)

Specs wise not exactly modern tech, but built to defy environments like you mention. Worth considering imho.
