Hey, I'll be back here in a few months to get help to build a new gaming rig, the plan is three screens. The thing is, I need a new monitor for my current rig. What ever monitor I get now, I hope to use with my new rig, so I'll be buying two more of the same when the time comes.

I've seen the 23" dell mentioned here a few times and its within budget but I said I'd check here first before ordering just in case there's a better option. Thx in advance.

Still one of the best out there.

A slightly cheaper monitor, using a similar panel. The stand isn't as nice, but both have VESA mounting options, and if you were to go that route, it might be something to consider. The LG also uses a glossy vs. matte bezel, which I personally don't like as much.

The monitors will be going on a desk so the stand is important to me. Think I'll stick with dell. Thx for the help, ordering it now.

The LG IPS234V uses a matte finish, just thought I should add that for future reference.

Yeah, sorry, should have made that clear. The panel is matte, but the monitor casing itself is glossy black.
