    Hi everyone,

I'm looking to purchase an ultrabook preferably with SSD drive only. Willing to spend 800 or a bit more. Any suggestions?

    Thanks a lot.

I doubt, you'll find an ultrabook with SSD for 800 yoyos, only hybrid storage (conventional platter HDD with mini SSD as express cache).

Keep an eye on laptops direct and amazon, you will get the odd ultrabook on sale at about the 800 mark:

I got a Samsung NP900X3D lately, mainly for office & browsing-and would highly recommend one. Only negative is the RAM is soldered so I can't add more.
Also bear in mind you could get a laptop with a hybrid or standard HDD with the most decent CPU etc, for about the 800 mark now, and upgrade it to a 128/256Gb mSATA SSD when you have more money to spend on it.

    a fast 120 gb SSD = 90 euros

Perhaps you could buy an ultrabook without SSD and add one in yourself - I know it sounds like a pain, but manufacturers seem to think that adding a 90 euro SSD means they can suddenly charge Apple prices

If you plan on doing this, you should check beforehand if the HDD is "user-accessible", i.e. through a maintenance hatch, or you might end up taking the hole thing apart and jeopardizing the warranty. Many ultrabooks don't even allow for memory upgrades, manufacturers just solder the RAM to the mainboard and do not bother with an expansion slot.
