HI I see where Dacia UK have an option where by you can order and pay for you car online, and then pick it up from a dealer of your choosing.

They piloted this system in Italy in 2011 and appear to be rolling out to all Countries in the EU, would this work in ireland?

It would appear to be aimed at the buyer who has no trade in.

I wouldn't personally buy a car online. I like to have a good look around the car - interior, exterior & under the bonnet. I like to listen to the engine, give it a good test drive watching rev count, oil temperature guage, feel what kind of kick there is when accelerating, give it a good test drive listening for any issues that can be heard e.g wheel bearings, exhaust.

Even buying brand new I still would like to have a look and get the feel of the car. But then I'm not an online shopper for anything really. Old fashioned I guess.
