Didn't want to take over a thread with this but not sure is there any other medium.

Premierstone I will throw out a couple of guidelines here, feel free to object/change/suggest anything different.

    * 5 points per day, e/w or win bets.

    * High street prices. Will do Best Odds Guaranteed regardless of bookmaker.

    * No multiples or bookies specials.

    * Must stake 75% of balance (15 points). No daily minimum limit.

    * Entirety of selections for 4 days must be posted by 12 pm on Tuesday March 12th. I would be open to using a medium to post our selections simultaneously should you wish.

    * To reduce confusion, please state the race, stake, price and bookmaker, eg. Hurricane Fly, Champion Hurdle, 2 points win at 9/4 (Paddypower)

Tight time line, is it only 1 pick a day or do you need to pick in every race, (or did I miss something) yes I did, 20 points to start with? and I can blow it all on the 1st race, as I can also spread it out over the whole meeting,

so 4 days = 24 races, so if I want to bet in every race my max bet will be below 1 point? getting a chance to spend your winnings is a bit of a buzz for a punter,

now I have to back HF as you have done a DB on me, I am sure you will put me right in the next while, but I would be up for it no probs, it just leaves it open for 1 punter to pick a 33/1 and fire the whole lot on it sit back and collect, mmmm what will I be collecting, it better be gold like and not pants.

This is a competitoion between Huntley and Premierstone, with a stake of €100/man.
There is a 'fun' competition that may interest you here....

I am an idiots, sorry H, best of luck to both, did I even read the rules right, if I did I hope 1 of them take my advice and stick the lot on a 33/1 winner, game over pitch flooded,

    cheers ft9.

Feel free to take part for interest if you want.

It is a selection competition however so I presumed nobody would realistically want to put 1 point on every race (There is 27). It doesn't leave it open for one person to land a 33/1 winner and sit back, a minimum of 15 points needs to be staked. 5 points a day aswell reduces the chance to put the bank on a strong favourite. edit: I see the confusion here, I meant no daily minimum limit. Can stake 5 points consecutively over 3 days if you wish.

Thank you H, I will throw up my selection later as long as P is ok with it 2, I know I will not be involved but I do think for me it would be interesting, seeing what you guys pick and reading up on them and then trying to find something to beat them (if it is possible),

plenty of races over the course of the meeting where it will be hard to get it right.:)

Huntley the week that's in it and I have made quite a bit of money so if you would like to make a donation to the injured jockeys fund I think it would be more appropriate, and may I wish JT a speedy and full recovery, the entire racing world is thinking of you.

it seems huntley the great couldnt tip a cow.

Kicking when someone is down is never nice or funny.

Huntley has a right to his opinion. Some might not agree in the way that he puts it across but he still has a right to it.

I would have done as badly as him if I had given my naps.

Well done Premierstone. A very noble gesture.

Maybe not the time or place

Premierstone, a very admirable gesture. I always buy the IJF calendars & Xmas cards each year I go to the Tingle Creek, a very worthy cause for those of us who enjoy the sport

from what ive seen Huntley thinks he is the dogs bollox when it comes to racing putting anyone else who has a different opinion to him down. saying someone must cut the grass at thurles as his only involement in racing just because they said they walked the course at cheltenham. you cant have a reasonable debate with him as he just puts people down.
He puts up an opinion and defends it.
I would rather read it than the claptrap above.
If you had an opinion, feel free to put it up before the event rather than crawling in with this nonsense.

I rarely 'tip' horses, nor am I a 'tipster'.

In relation to Cheltenham you are correct though about my selecting, I never consider it something to make money from however. You could have figured this out if you researched my log from last year though, one that had its most profitable selections before and after March. The same way it has been this season and will continue to be.

First Lieutenant was my target horse this year and it didn't come off, no big deal really in the grand scheme of things. I enjoyed the week as I always do.

There is nobody down here, this was a selection competition for €100. I can understand the attempts to be humorous and take them in good faith. Every dog has its day in the sun.

People would be surprised how easy it is to fall out of love with a game when you have been watching people for years getting broke up around mediocre tracks in the country. The majority of gimps like the above don't understand this because they emerge to see a wonderful spectacle for four days with the cream of the crop on show. Today was one of the first days I stood watching a Gold Cup and didn't have any emotions about the outcome.

No problem premierstone, I will make it a monkey altogether for what it is. If you want to send me your details to huntley@live.ie I can do so under your name.

The reason I said Solwhit is a physical wreck is because I stood 10 yards from him last April when he couldn't even go a decent hack on the gallops. The ****ing trainer was another 10 yards away thinking the same thing you fúcking invalid.

Anyway premierstone send me on your name there, you won the bet so it is only fair it. I did say I would leave when I challenged hucklebuck so I will abide by that.

You didn't challenge hucklebuck though. The prize with premier stone was €100, no mention of anyone leaving. Educated posters are rare around here, hang around for a bit.

Sounds good, my max is going to be €100 though.

I have too much coming down the line and can't afford to lose any more than this, even though I don't plan losing....

    Don't worry I don't bother with them.

Not sure of a format yet, maybe a two point win / one point ew selection a race?

    Almost forgot about this.

Not a fan of level stakes and would prefer not to have to pick a selection in each race but whatever suits. Let me know the format anyway.

Is SRFC getting involved aswell or did he decline?

I dont mind how we set it up. Single bets only and let me know preferred way of doing it, I'm easy enough.

I will have to post all my selections tonight for the week and will be off the chart until Sunday evening at the earliest.

Very long day in work tomorrow :( and treating myself and the missus to a long weekend in a suite in the Ritz Carlton with all the extras courtesy of Cheltenham winnings :D. Hope I get to see some racing over the weekend

We just need a staking plan if you are open to 10 points per day? Win or e/w.

I presume that betting w/o markets are fair game aswell as they are still single selections.

In regards to your selections, would it be possible to use someone as a medium and they can post your selections by a certain time on the morning of the races?

Also, is SRFC involved or did he decline? I'll send him a PM to this thread just so he won't miss this.

Yeah 10 points a day is fine win or each way.

Yeah any singles in any market are fine by me, obviously excluding forecasts/ tricasts.

I am just going to have to throw them all up tonight, if the going changes I won't be able to review the form and reselect as I would end up divorced!!

I will sent SRFC a message too, see if he has the minerals to take us on.
