    Hi Guys,

    Just wondering does anybody know how long a case takes to close after an insurance company receiving bank draft for damages?

    I cant get insurance until the case is closed, the insurance company received the bank draft last Thurs, but my Insurance company have still not heard anything back after leaving messages to call back etc..

    Anybody have any idea how long it normally takes?

    I assume you are reimbursing your Insurer for payments they made. Once they receive the draft in the right department it should not take more than a couple of days.

    5 days for a draft to clear in a bank. From when it's lodged, and that is working days.
