Respray / Bodywork in Galway

    Hi guys,

My parents picked up a new (well 07) Hyundai Sonata the other day. Whilst it's mint condition inside, unfortunately the body work isn't so great.

There's a good few scrapes on the bumpers, scratches on the bonnet (the work of a cat perhaps?) and there's some very deep scratches and scrapes on the doors.

Basically, it looks like all of the panels are going to need some work.

There's also a few small, slight dents on the bodywork also, so that's going to need seeing to as well.

Can anyone recommend any good places to get some respray work done around Galway?

Also, any rough ideas of cost? (Hard one to say without seeing the damage, I know, I'll try and get some pics up later though)

    Thanks!

I've used N&N autobody out in Moycullen for a pretty bad damage to a door sill years ago.
They made it like new for 200. If you search boards for them you'll find more details.

I've used Ray Noble in Elbon spray painting. He's just outside Ballinasloe. Couldn't fault him. He's number is: 0868231667.

I've used N&N in the past, too. They're based between Moycullen and Barna on the road that goes up along the side of the White Gables.

Frank Byrnes in Oranmore is also excellent.

I'm getting work done at G & P in the Liosbaun estate at the moment. They are not as cheap as other places but several mechanics have recommended them to me.

They have a proper painting booth and oven to cure the paint.

I'd go to G & P for a newer car. For an older car, maybe somewhere cheaper would be grand.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

Gonna call out to a few of the listed above tomorrow.

It's an 07, so want to get a good job done, it's not a banger by any means, it's actually mint inside and low mileage etc.. so want to try and restore it to it's former glory :D
