Selling my car to a dealer to buy another one. Just realised my motor tax out since end of last month. Do I need to make sure its paid up before I sell or does that become dealers responsibility? Thanks!

Not your responsibility, new owner only has to pay tax from when they register it in their name.

Don't worry about it, new owner will tax it.

no once you sell it they just tax it from the date of sale.
