why would you do that ?? to save cash ??? the original spec is superior

Ye i want to save cash or get better parts for the same money, and i kinda like the fx

whats your main use for it ?? if its gaming the i5 is better by a good bit , if its video editing etc the FX is better , both are good but for what most people use there pc for the i5 is the best option.
and besides that asus sabertooth is an absolute beast of a mobo . upping it to a ROG board is kinda pointless unless you are just after the name .

The FX-8320 is a decent CPU for an 800 euro build (8350 is overpriced IMO), but for 1700 there shouldn't be an debate, especially if you are prepared to drop 200 on the motherboard, which is a far less important component in overall performance

ye i'd be using it for gaming and collage il be doing engineering and computer science so il have it for that too
the €200 M,B was really to future proof the pc

well id say the Z77 sabertooth would futureproof it better TBH , i used it myself in my build (see below apologies for the bad pics) and it is a fantastic board , especially if you want to overclock ,and if your into it , it looks really good too very clean

    Haha Cheers
just lazyness TBH :o i will eventually, want to do it properly (not a H100) , but that cooler in it is excellent anyway and freaky quiet , so im in no rush.

i have the i7 3770k in mine overclocked to 4.6 and it is an excellent cpu , it depends what you want really i put it in mine because i do a fair bit of CAD on mine and it helps for that , and also to help future proof it . if you can go an extra 85 quid without it bothering you , i would but thats just me :D
