Some of us will be visiting our mothers today, some of us won't. Some of us will get a card from our children, some of us won't.

Whatever mothers' day means to you, even if that's nothing, have a good Sunday :)

    Its a great movie though!!

I'm just over 14,000km from my mum and its over a week until I get home. I can't wait to see her for a huge hug, I just talked with her 10 minutes ago, and I lost count of how many times I said 'I love you Mum' She's the best :D

My father was an asshole last night. I've been in a foul mood since then, pissed off and upset so I asked the Mammy for a chat a few hours ago. She, of course had a grand chat with me, followed by a big hug. I guess even when your kids are adults you never stop being a Mammy. I am glad I got her an enormous box of expensive (to me) chocolates.

I found my 10 mth old gnawing on the corner of a pink envelope with a big grin. My first Mothers day card. <3

    Something to treasure forever.

When I was 7yrs old,my mother brought me,along with her friend and her friend's children to the movies. At the interval, she went to get Icecream.I never saw her again. After almost 40yrs,I still love that my own children send me cards, text me AND spend the day with me if they possibly can, because they love me(which I know) but also because they want me to KNOW they love me.I wish them, with all my heart, the same loving, wonderful, beautiful children I was lucky to have.
Happy Mother's Day to you all
Especially to all the Foster/Adoptive/Stepmother's-you all do such a wonderful and un-sung job
