9k is hilariously expensive for a 07 St. I would imagine you would get one for 7k or under.

9k is expensive for one. There's some on DoneDeal for under 6k, possibly 06, but that's some difference. I take it the one you're looking at is in a Dealership?

Anyway, there was only one ST released here (ST1), everything on it was then an optional extra. So you can't just go out and find an ST2 or ST3 like you can over in England. You're better off deciding what options you want and hoping to find one with those. Most Irish ST's don't have them all unfortunately, so getting most is the best you'll do.

    ST1 - Base Spec
ST2 - Xenons, heated windscreen, upgraded stereo and speakers
ST3 - As above with Leather interior, heated front seats and 6cd changer head unit.

Slap reg in there to see the cars full spec, i bought a 07 with a low spec but nice reg and only 37000 miles last summer for 7500, 9k im guessing is from a dealership

Most Irish models are poverty spec w/o xenons or dual climate control/leather etc as almost everything was an extra, great car though make sure and drive one before you make a final decision

My 06 was an ST1 with auto wipers, lights, rear view mirror and bluetooth. What more would you need realistically?

If you thoght it was cheap I'd sell ya an 08 one for the same price :)
And I'd be pretty confindent it would be quicker :p

In all honesty they are a great car to drive, very reliable, cheap to service, easily modified for more power.
On the other hand, they are expensive to tax, drink fuel and fly through tyres.

But in all honesty it's well worth it.

As the lads said only an ST was released here, no 1, 2 or 3.
Mine has a 6 CD changer, buetooth, auto wipers. lights, rearview mirror and a heated windscreen.
Pretty much all the options I wanted.

Leather is nice and ocassionally you can come across a cheap interior on ebay or donedeal, tis a doddle to swap them.
