My mams friends laptop broke and she got a new screen on it.she paid 150 euro.took it home and it never worked.the lad that replaced it is long gone.is there anywhere local that would give a good price on fixing it.i had one chap look and he felt a new screen was needed again and it's 160 euro again.
I think I might have to get her a second opinion.it works fine when connected to a monitor .
    Thanks cathy

the screen may still be faulty or it could be as simple as the cable that connects the screen has come loose
To check this you need to remove the trim and the screen

If you pm me I may be able to help you
