The mileage it's able for would depend how well it was serviced.

I drove a 03 1.2 corsa for two years with 120,000 when I got rid. Along with servicing only thing I had to do was a new gear linkage (although a common problem on the Corsa C), a new wiper linkage, new spring coils for the front, and CV boot covers. Flew though its last NCT barr the CV boot.

I have driven one of these, and I would rather walk than drive one again. They're horrible. I'd say the petrol would be a much better buy, unless you're doing mega miles. As for reliability, don't let the fact that the engine is from FIAT put you off, they're generally very reliable if they're serviced on time.

Thanks for the feedback .The high milage was the thing that was holding me back.I was told some diesel engines can do 300,000 miles and some a lot less. Thanks
