Our next IKF Sanctioned Full Contact Kickboxing & K-1 promotion is in the Menlo Park Hotel, Galway on March 23.
I just want to give a big shout out to Patrick Lonergan, the proprietor of O' Connells Bar in Eyre Square who has stepped in as main sponsor for the event - thank you so much Patrick, your support is very much appreciated.
The main event will feature current IKF All Ireland Super Welterweight Full Contact Kickboxing champion Charlie "The Iceman" Ward making a mandatory first defence of his title to tough MMA fighter & Leinster Boxing champion Alex Kravtsov from Dublin.
Charlies last two fights have brought the young man from Ballybane victory by clean one punch knockouts so you can expect a war in this one.
The undercard is second to none as no less than 10 fighters from various camps in the UK including Star Kickboxing, Falcon Kickboxing and our good friends at the World famous TKO Kickboxing academy in Kent will fly in to take on 10 of Irelands finest in an exciting International team event.
1/ Fawad Noonan from Galway will open the show in a 3 round contest against Bradley Wray from England.
2/ Kalum O Sullivan from Waterford versus 5 Nations champ Harry Hennon from England.
3/ Irish No.1 contender Alex Temnikov from PMA gym in Meath versus Matt Pragnell from England.
4/ Robert Miscow from Top Pro in Kilkenny squares up with British champ Patrick Halforty.
5/ Galways Nicholas Hogan versus Englands Eddie Smith.
6/ Irish champ Lindsey Doyle from Dublin versus British & Commonwealth champ Kelly Copeland from England.
7/ Arthur Pohkilo from Dublin Versus Jack Poole from England.
8/ Irish Champ James Ward from Galway Versus Bradley Fotherhill from England.
9/ Irish & 5 Nations champ Yvonne Mc Nevin from Galway Versus Kay Sumner from England.
10/ Irish Champ Paul Huish from Galway Versus Liam Wells from England.

Then of course our very own "King of the ring" Gerry King will have his long awaited rematch with David from the Phoenix camp in Tullamore followed by the return to the ring of Catherine "Cool Chic" Cullinan who will square off with Tullamores Ciara Leavy.
European Champion Gary "Slick" Manogue will also be in action and is just waiting on confirmation on an opponent from Central Europe - this should be announced tomorrow.
We then have a K-1 rules fight featuring double Irish Champ Bryan "Mayhem" Merrigan taking on Tomas Trajkovski from Kilkenny in a non title rematch over 3 x 3 minute rounds.
What a fightcard this is - tickets are out now from the fighters, the Black Dragon Gym and the Menlo Park Hotel "so don't hang about as this show will sell out".
