Monday's episode of WWE RAW will be live from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Several of WWE's top superstars will be in attendance as the WWE inches closer to WrestleMania 29 on Sunday, April 7. According to a March 11 report by Wrestlinginc.com, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Chris Jericho and The Undertaker are all scheduled to appear on RAW.

Brock Lesnar will appear on RAW to respond to Triple H's WrestleMania challenge from last week. A few weeks ago, the two men had a brutal encounter, which saw Lesnar busted open and bleeding everywhere. Lesnar is expected to accept the challenge and face HHH at WM 29.

The only match planned for the on-air portion of Monday night's event is The New Age Outlaws taking on Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. This match was made after NAO had a great return match on the March 4 "Old School" edition of RAW.

The dark match main event for the night (un-aired) is a handicap match of John Cena and Ryback vs. The Shield.

The WWE is teasing the following for tonight's RAW as well:
    • Will Fandango actually wrestle on RAW or just leave again?
    • How will The Big Show respond to The Shield?
    • What will CM Punk say to The Undertaker?
The Big Show is expected to team up with Sheamus and Randy Orton to take on The Shield at WrestleMania 29. CM Punk vs. The Undertaker will also get some major air-time on RAW as they continue to hype up this huge WM match.

You can also expect the WWE to continue to build up the following angles for WM 29:
    • Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger
    • Mark Henry vs. Ryback
    • And possibly a Team Hell No tag-team match

Just to remind everyone, Raw starts ONE HOUR EARLY tonight (so midnight I guess) because of the fact America changed their clocks. So watch your DVRs if you tape it :P

Yep don't miss the beginning of Raw tonight as it's likely to start with a tribute video to Paul Bearer.

It might still get saved for it, can see it not getting started or NAO attacked before the match or something like that.

Hopefully Lawler or Maddox will introduce Fandangoo since they're the only ones in that stupid company who try to pronounce his name correctly.

Did they break up Rhode Scholars just to put them back together again?!? Confusing!!

Looking forward to Raw tonight, hope it keeps up with the last few weeks twists and undertaker might actually stick round long enough to get in the ring.

12am start? Might even stay up for it!!

New Age Outlaws v Team Hell No for the title at Wrestlemania sounds much better.

Personally id love a fatal 4 way tag team match at this years mania ala WM 19. Fast paced action, great way of getting the crowd pumped up should it be on early, and gets a lot of participants in one match. But is there even 4 teams that could be involved in it?

The only problem with them getting the tag belts would be they're in a better position on the card as it is.

Taking on and beating the likes of Cena and Ryback et al >>> Beating the Prime Time Players.

Really hoped Taker would come out and say a few words about PB. How come Taker never gets on the mic anymore? He was good on the mic once.

Any bets it will be just Show vs Shield at Mania?
So help me god if he buries them

Nice to see the WWE still keeping Kayfabe alive with Kane and Paul Bearer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,801 ✭✭✭✭Exclamation Marc

Jeez I've no idea how I feel about that.

Horrific move because Bearer deserves a proper tribute, and it's pure cheap heat.

Great move because it adds that fuel for the Undertaker to dispatch Punk and the crowd to really get behind him. Also if/when Undertaker prevails, they should have some Bearer tribute, even small.

I don't know though. Tasteless? The feud should be 'buildable' without referencing Bearer.

In two minds! Great video tribute though.

I'm sure its lining up to be the Sheild vs. Big Show, Sheamus and Orton.

    That powerbomb was class.

I really really hope the Shield prevails at Mania.

They're genuinely entertaining to watch, unpredictable and could really evolve.

Ah was hoping Bryan and Ziggles could go at Mania.

Am I the only one that thinks that using his passing to build a Mania main event is actually a pretty fitting way for the WWE to pay tribute to Paul Bearer? I don't see it as disrespectful, quite the opposite.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,012 ✭✭✭Kerplunk124

He wouldn't of found it disrespectful i dont think but it's still dodgy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,217 ✭✭✭✭B.A._Baracus

If you sit back and think about it ... it really was a tasteless move by WWE.

Generally when someone famous within wrestling dies they just feature an image. Then start the show. A nice respectful way. But in this case they opened up with a 2-3 minute video, an urn in the middle of the ring, the taker comes out (etc etc) All to build up to Punk coming out. So what was 'real' by WWE? ... you have to figure the time alotted wasn't about respect. Was about promotion. Business is business. We all get that. But there is twisting sad real life events into promotion.

As I typed this they featured a video of Bearer in 1991. Again, "dont forget to tweet or tout about paul bearer tonight" ... again, its not about the man. It's about how do we promote something.

Not sure, but I think its easy to forget he would probably would have no issue been with the opening segment, old school and all that. Yes it was cheap heat, but its wrestling folks, its not The Wire so best not to get upset about it.

Also no way Taker didn't approve that either.

He finally won a match on raw can't remember his last win good match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,012 ✭✭✭Kerplunk124

Bryan and Ziggler are just awesome

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,602 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

He was an old school wrestling manager. Come on guys, this is what happens in the business.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 846 ✭✭✭MAJR

Langston's finisher is not impressive. Sure, its more imaginative than having him use a powerbomb or the dominator but he just lifts someone to his shoulder and then jumps to the ground. Lacks impact.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,101 ✭✭✭MitchKoobski

You really have to be looking for reasons to complain if you thought it was tasteless.

Theres no way Taker didnt approve it.
Kane is on a rampage after Punks show of disrespect.
They had a full uninterrupted tribute video to start the show.
They had Undertaker bow to the urn to the ring.

Christ, do you want a full 3 hour Paul Bearer tribute show?
