Weights exercises in the gym

    Just wondering what kind of weights exercises other GAA players do in the gym

    I always prefer the leg weight workouts to upper body ones. I saw a big improvement in my kicking and jumping when I added a seated leg press workout to my routine.

    Also I put some weights into a bag and would run with it on my back to build up the legs, always made sure it was a backpack (Like a schoolbag) so it would have two straps to distribute the weight evenly

    seated leg press
    probably the worst exercise in the world (after curls in the squat rack)

    you need to squat and deadlift

    right
    go along to any strength and conditioning coach and see if they recommend leg press.
