Hi, I graduated in 2005 with ordinary degree in business with merit grade 2 (not great I know) since then its safe to say I have forgotten a lot of what I learned. In my current job in a small company in retail/wholesale (construction and personal protective clothing) I deal with customers(pricing, queries, ordering), purchase (seek best prices on products), target new customers, invoicing through Sage - a lot of admin stuff. I have been reduced to 3 days a week since downturn, therefore trying to reassess my work life. I have tried online to find a refresher business course or some thing of the like but no joy. I can't go back to college full time have 2 kids and hubby isn't working at the minute so need to keep working. If anyone has any experience in retail management and what are the skills and experience needed I'd appreciate it. I was also looking the aldi/lidl assistant manager jobs. I'm all the place so any advice don't know what would be best so any advice would be greatly appreicated
