You should report it to the npws so they know it's going on in that area. Scumbags i hope the trip and shoot themselves in the foot.:D:P:pac:

Does anyone remember in 2009 we had the same thing here? The Woodlands of Ireland deer report told us we needed to cull 150,000 deer straight away or our forests and farms would be destroyed by them :) cull never happened I think our woods are still standing and we have less deer!

Like today it was over the media....... zzzz's

If deer populations were spread evenly within a large area like Ireland or the UK just setting a number as target would probably work.

Since that isn't the fact it'll all be a matter of localised management to figure out what an area can support and what needs done to keep the heard in optimal condition.

Anyone hear any of this before somewhere ?

Ya, in Europe...Pretty much SOP decided between the hunting consortiums and the forestry services for a region on how many animals must be culled PA.
That also includes animals killed in road deaths..:(

Paper newer refuses ink (sensational headlines) certain areas have load of deer eg. near national park , built up areas near housing . Any where near out of the way areas where lamping scumbags can have there way will suffer badly, poaching will take its toll on the deer herds the future of the sport is in our hands it is up to us to protect it
