CBT or Psychotherapy

    I have been feeling a bit down lately and lacking confidence.I have started counselling .I have went to two sessions of psychotherapy.I find it a bit awkward in the room with the psychotherapists.A lot of silence etc.Which is the best option if i want to improve self esteem?Thanks

    unfortunately it is against site rules to offer medical advice.
    My suggestion while closing this thread is to go back to your GP and speak about your concerns with them and address getting the right treatment for you. Please note any form of therapy can and does take time, you can only get out what you put in.
