    Hi,

Couple of questions so I can understand your questions:

What do you mean by 'full browser'?

    and

what do you mean by 'What cards can you get any links, what channels'?

    Hi iba,

Full internet browser, can go on internet , box will connect to internet, I see some boxes only let you get some sites like youtube and thats it.
Cards as in Do you/can you buy a cards to get extra channels?
or is the cards just for cardsharing.

I assume he means cards for foreign subs.
See the Foreign Satellite forum at http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=622

You can use cards in the Ariva 150 and 250 for Cyfra on Hotbird from Poland from satskelp.pl for example.

Dont know which boxes have full internet browser capabilities though

Some Humax STB have hard drives

Did you try your Ariva by connecting with scart or Cables instead of the HDMI cable - if your box is really faulty, even after a year, you can take it back to your seller.

Thanks, I dont have a box yet, but am loking at the amiko alien 2 triple tuner after doing more research. so i can have saorview channels and freeview channels 7 day epg, series link(autotimer) record while watching another channel and card functions. This seems to be best option for what I want and low cost compared to vu+duo etc..
