Just wondering has anyone used the swingyde for position reference when practicing? also those stretchy bands for proper arm connection (semi-flying elbow)

have got lessons but would like something for feedback when practicing so I can stay on top of bad habits (9 handicap)

Connection bands aren't a great idea. Mainly because they are artificially holding your arm in, you could be pushing your arm out against and not feel it, the band could actually be making the problem worse. The glove/towel under the arm is much better, by keeping the glove in place, you are keeping the arm connected and learning what you are trying to do.

The same problem with the swingyde, it is stopping you artificially. The way to use it effectively would be to finish the swing before it touches the arm.
