Hi guys. Does anyone know of any game clubs around Dublin that might let me take part in the conservation aspect of the club? I understand how hard it is to become a member of most of these clubs but surely they could use as many hands as possible with conservation????? I have no initial intention of trying to hunt with said club but It'll give me an opportunity to see how a game club works and an insight into the world of hunting on my doorstep if you will.

Anyway, any help or advise will as usual be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers guys.

Many clubs do habitat work like sowing game cover, planting hedges, putting in ponds etc. I'm sure some would appreciate volunteers in that area. There is a project in Fingal to bring back Grey Partridges which is run in conjunction with local Gun Clubs. Probably a good starting point if your interested in that kind of thing.
