Anyone know a good shop for buying used quality guitars amps or effects in Dublin. Not the usual epiphone or squire stuff but decent Marshall fender or gibsons like pre CBS or JMI vox era?

Also I want to be able to trade in some gear and get a decent price on it too.

Talk to Eoin in Someneckguitars mate, he is a pure gent and knows everything there is to know about vintage guitars, amps and effects in Ireland. Cool little shop he has too with loads of great deals and he will also take trade-ins if you have something decent he can sell on. give him a call on 014758545 or check out his website http://www.someneckguitars.com. Its not always up to date with the latest stock mind you as the shop constantly seems to have things coming and going everyday I work near by and usually call in for a chat and to see whats new in so best give him a call if you have something especially in mind as he can usually track down something for you even if he doesn't have it himself.

By god yes, I was only testing (and bought) a pedal in there and he had me plugged into a cranked original Bassman. He just slipped outside the door for a chat while I was at it.
One of the nicest lads I've met.

It's an Aungier Street. From Georges Street just keep walking towards Camden street and you can't miss it.
Just don't get disheartened and turn back, many have. :p

That happened to me. I was told Georges street, but gave up when I couldn't find it. Must give it another look!

+ 1 for Eoin - very cool indeed. I've bought guitars there, a very good shop.
