    Hiya
My sister-in-law is going in to Holles Street this Sunday 10 March.. I booked the dad into the russel court hotel from the Sunday night - but they don't have parking.. they give a good rate thou for over night parking at Royal College of Surgeons car park so that is great.. But day time parking seems awful expensive.. Has anyone any ideas on reasonably priced car parks from 10 am - 6 pm. They are coming from Inishowen, Co Donegal and would not know Dublin very well..
    Thanks a million..

Q-Park will allow you to pre-book for a full 24 hours parking in Stephen's Green/Royal College of Surgeons car park (same car park) for €15.00 - I don't know what rate the hotel gave for overnight but it might work out better to pay this one rate than to pay two separate rates and also will mean not having to move the car if they are spending the day in the hospital. If you gave Q-Park a call they might do a special rate for having the car there for a few days. I hope all works out well for baby :)

Is the hotel booking cancellable? If so you might consider booking a hotel in Ballsbridge? Walkable to Holles St in 15 minutes, buses go practically door to door and parking is cheaper.

OP, Holles St is only a 5 minute walk from 2 DART stations, Grand Canal Dock and Pearse Station on Westland Row. If your family are gong to be in Dublin for a while, another option for them could be to stay in a hotel out in the suburbs where space in plentiful, so parking is free. Then just take the take the train into town every day. Hotels out in the suburbs are usually cheaper than those in the city centre. You also don't have the hassle of dealing with city centre traffic at such a stressful time. Best of luck to you all.

the Holiday Inn 5 mins from Holles Street has parking

Also there is a small carpark at the back of Holles Street which charges 10e for 12 hours parking

On street parking on one side of Hogan Place (around the corner from Holles Street) is free but you need to get there early to get a spot, before 8, I'd say. On the houses side, not outside the offices
