Only finished watching the last few myself last week . Absolutely brilliant show. I only got into before Christmas and have been hooked since. Defo my fave show. Can't wait for it to come back now. Very intrigues as to how they end it. I do hope they end it in a Breaking bad way and don't go all Hollywood on its ass, although I don't think it will.

The only source for July 14th was Aaron Paul, don't think AMC ever confirmed a return date until now.

Yep, really disappointing news on the return date. However, AMC have also said they will air a new live half-hour show after each episode called 'Talking Bad'.

Got such a sinking feeling in my tummy when I heard that I had to wait till August to see the last 8 episodes. Was sure it was going to be aired late June:( Oh well heres to wishing 4 months of my life away:p

totally agree, game of thrones and breaking bad - best shows ever.. countdown is on now only 53 days left i think! :P Have watched it all online so far, will the final episodes be shown on tv here?

Nah, the wire and BB are TV shows through and through, Game of Thrones has a far superior way to be experienced in the books so it would be difficult to rate it as higher than the other 2.

Anyone know when we'll get to see season 5.2 on Irish tv/Sky/Netflix? I'm afraid I'm gonna hear something about it when it airs in the States before I get to see it. So excited about these last few episodes. Def the best thing I have ever seen on tv.

I think season 5 part 1 appeared on Irish Netflix very quickly after it finished on US tv.
Best bet (legally) to see it first in Ireland.
