I listened to a roundup of the episodes of GoT last season and thought it was pretty good.

It's called A Cast of Kings. It's free on iTunes. You can never have too many Podcasts.:)

Anyone else have any good material to read or listen to?

A Clash of kings is my favorite, it's a no BS approach to GOT. I listen to A Cast of Thrones too, but they annoy the hell out of me. They just try and be funny all the time, and they are far from funny.

For the books A Podcast of Ice and Fire is very good,

I like the Boars Gore and Swords podcast. It follows the tv show, and between seasons they do a book club. It's hilarious.

Been listening to a few podcasts lately. Alot of them tend to be well over an hour and mostly presented by Americans many of which annoy the hell out of me. Anyway....

Cast of Kings: The standard podcast, 1 guy and 2 girls, not annoying. I don't like how the host hasn't read the books and the majority of the show is the female bookreader asking him what he expects to happen. Basically its one guy talking spray while the other guest can't really add anything apart from some backstory and correction.

Cast of Thrones: A panel of guests, all americans, half book readers half non. This is by far the most annoying podcast of them all, the discussion has no control and there is very little manners. The one female panel member must be the loudest on the mic and interrupts everyone while some of the other panel members are making a good point. Also the boards non book reader would put the book readers on this panel to shame, they forget the names of half the characters and locations and know none of the actors names. It's actually infuriating to listen to. They also accidently let thing slip in discussion (e.g. death of the Lannister kids by Karstark). The show does actually has a spoiler section where the bookreaders discuss future events, it is always the last 20 minutes and i would recommend just skipping ahead to that if you have read the books.

Nights Watch: These lads are so laid back they are horizonal, then give each episode a rating and discuss everything scene by scene which is kind of tired. They also get side track very easily and often. They also get lost and start discussing other TV shows.

Bore, Gore & Swords: The humourous podcast. Found these lads quiet annoying as it took 18 mins for them to actual start the GoT discussion, also every sentence is an attempted joked followed by forced laughter, they may have one of two funny lines but the lads are just wannabe comedians. If there is anything i cant stand its fake laughter at a bad joke.

A Pod of Casts: A british guy and a central american guy (book reader). This actual has in depth character discussion and discusses story progression, pacing and performances. It is quiet serious i found. They do however play voicemails from people commenting on the show and making prediction which is kinda weird and some of them sound kind of creepy.

Game of Owns: 2 guys 2 girls, relaxed discussion most character based and a very polite attitude amoung all group members. This is probably my preferred choice apart from one of the host does a stupid Kermit the frog impression. They also for some reason do a commentary where the watch the show, it's completely pointless.

I used to listen to Cast of Kings but yeah David Chen not having read the books is annoying, there's no point discussing anything past the series it should be two non book readers, every time he has a theory the girl can't say whether its correct or not, its pointless. his voice annoys the crap out of me too its why I stopped listening to the /film podcast as well he presents that too.
