Maybe some of you are already aware of this but I will tell you about my experience with selling something on E-bay today.

The buyer clicked the buy it now link and I sent him the invoice, he sent me the message below.

"I will like to pay for it now just send me a confirmation of your paypal email id as i want to re-confirmed it before sending payment..your paypal email address or a paypal money request here is my id;;bblablaj307 at hotmail DOT com please get back to me asap
    Regards.

    - bblblaj30"

I was told by E-bay not to sent him a payment request outside of E-bay, and that if the seller doesn't want to do it my way then to file a non payment case.

Seemingly, if I had e-mailed him I was to expect a very real looking paypal e-mail saying payment was sent then I'm supposed to think that he sent it and send the item when in fact it's a scam. (but I naturally would have logged into paypal to check first)

The other think is if you read his message, he was looking for me to send a payment request, then I read on the internet that I would have got a real paypal payment but from a stolen credit card or something and I would have sent the item, I don't think I'd have protection from this ?

Anyway now I have to wait 4 days for to file a non payment case before I can re auction the item, what a pain in the ass.

I had my suspicious because he has 0 feed back and I have 0 experience with selling and maybe that's who they target.

Anyway Beware and you have his e-bay ID!
