Embossing Machines for Cardmaking

Just wondering what embossing machine would you recommend for cardmaking? Have seen the Cuttlebug and that looks quite good.

Also, wouldn't mind if I could get a second-hand one as I don't really want to spend more than €50 if possible until I know I will get good use out of it!!

Any recommendations where I could get a second hand one or relatively cheap/starter one for a newbie?

    Thanks :)

I have a Cuttlebug which I bought on special offer in Belfast, but some cardmakers prefer a bigger machine. You need to do some research to get the best deal.

    Hi Lovely Lady,

I have the big shot and I have to say it’s very good, it does take up a bit more space than the cuttlebug but you can use larger cutting dies and embossing folders in the big shot. they cost about 80 - 100 euro new but they do come with a guarantee so if it breaks they will send you spare parts or replace it if necessary
