    Hi,

I am interested in using a personal trainer to help me with my weightloss. I don't personally know anyone who has used a personal trainer so I was wondering if anyone here could give me a recommendation. I am female so maybe someone who works with women to lose weight - not sure if that makes a difference. I'd be looking for someone in Dublin 1,2 or 8.

    Thanks

I'd recommend FFS (Fitter, Faster, Stronger) on Leeson St. Just next to the Canal. Might be a bit far away for you.
I've been going to their class for the last month and have been impressed by it. Classes are very good as they are small (max 10) but if you want to do Personal training classes, they also do them.

    Hope it helps

Both of these guys should steer you right, or at least drop them a line with what you're looking for (one off sessions/blocks/ongoing training etc.) Both are mainly class based, but pretty sure they both do 1-to-1 training too, not exactly the locations you're looking for but both close enough and worth traveling an extra little bit for.

You're completely right, your post was much more helpful.

The OP asked for recommendations for personal trainers, I recommended 2 guys that happen to know their stuff and get results in her general location, they're a walk or a short bus trip/drive from the suggested locations not in Cork.

Do I happen to know them personally, yes. I happen to know them through the industry, we didn't kick ball together on the street growing up, we didn't go drinking together through clown college and don't send eachother Christmas cards so I'm not quite sure what your point is?
