Graphics card problem on new build ??

I recently downsized my rig, everything worked great beforehand.

Ive since got a mini itx motherboard, the asus p8z77-i deluxe and Ive updated the bios to the latest available.

I have i7 3770k CPU and the new case is a silverstone SG08 with built in PSU (600w) Im sure that's enough power and not my issue.

The graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 680.

Without card inserted into pci slot, bios is viewable and OS boots as normal (clean install btw), but when I insert graphics card, all I get is a black screen, no video input detected notification from the monitor.

Any ideas, I did a bit of searching, I'm fairly sure its not power related, on SilverStones's website, gtx 680 is said to be compatible with the case/psu combo, the reason I bought it.

I also selected pci as primary graphics option in bios, but that made no difference

    any ideas folks,

    Regards

It shouldn't be unless it's faulty. According to the specs it should be fine.
