Hey people i want to print a few A4 sized prints from a lacrosse game i shot for my mates. I have already cropped some of the images in Lightroom so i'm just wonder how i go about cropping them for print? Is there a way of working out the cropping dimension for A4?

Also, where is the cheapest/best placed to get the printing done? don't need them framed or anything & don't have a printer myself

    thanks!

Why A4? 5/7 is a close enough ratio (3mm short)

...but if you want to be precise, use this crop setting -

    LULsW5b.png

and 300dpi at the output stage.

You might find 8x12 or 10x12 are the closest photo print sizes though...

which would be the nearest to A4 without being actually bigger than A4?

    A4 is a printing paper size whereas photos tend to be 8 x 10 or 8 x 12 or 10 x 12. Nearest would be 8 x 12"

9*6 is the largest photo standard size that would fit on A4

    12*8 wouldnt its to long

you could print any size effectively, for example 11*7.33 is still photo ratio but would fit on a4
