I'm with emobile and my phone broke so started using my friends spare sony xperia s. Really wanted to put cyanogenmod on it but i cant cause the boatloader is locked saying no next to it. I can root the phone easily enough but was wondering when the contract is up with emobile and they unlock it will that unlock the bootloader or will it always say no.

I know there is shops that can network unlock phones but no one seems to know does that unlock the bootloader too.

any advice be great
