New project - Acoustic/Indie - Dublin

    Hi all,

    Thinking of putting together a new project and looking for people who would like to be involved.

    I play bass and some guitar and can also do some singing (if required). Not looking for anything ultra serious... Just rehearsal once or twice per week to work on some ideas and have a bit of fun and see what happens

    Looking for male or female singers for harmonies, piano, drums/percussion, guitars, or anything else to mix up sound a little!

    Age not really that important but somewhere around the 25-35 would be preferred

    Lots of own influences including the beatles, the smiths, nirvana, oasis, ocs, manics (anything from "britpop" era) plus irish stuff damien rice, the swell season, gemma hayes, bell x1... I like the idea of varied influences between members and for this project something composing a good melody with vocal harmonies and a natural sound (if that makes any sense!)

    Hi Caoimhe, I'm based in North Dublin but work on south side and drive too so anywhere in Dublin is good for me. How about yourself? Do you sing also? What type of stuff are you into?

    I'd be up for playing the type of music that you play but i'm 19 and still in college. I haven't been playing with a band for a while and wanted to get started back into something small. I don't know if I'd suit what you're looking for unfortunately.
