OK fairly simple thread, If you see or think you see a boardsie's car out and about post here, possibly with a pic :)

Tonight at Nutgrove shopping centre carpark I think I saw Dar83's Focus ST possibly eating a Mcdonalds drive through :P

    Was it you Dar?

For the next week at least, I'll be in a blue Bravo. Can't be any left on the road apart from this one!

Couldn't have been dar's Focus ST as their turning circle is too big to go through one

He could have parked, walked in, got a takeaway and sat in the car to eat it:pac:

Just realized that this thread will only work if the person you saw is online.....

Unfortunately he drove off before I got my McFlurry and could take a pic or ask if it was him.... I might PM him to let him know about this thread.

I would be interested to know who else out there has the same looking car as mine though.

There I was thinking it was at least somewhat unique in the Irish ST world. :(

I only saw it from a distance (50m?) but it was the same blue and had black/dark grey wheels. I was sure it was going to be you!

Would it be an idea to have a separate 'no chat' thread stickied with members cars?

We already have 5 stickies at the minute, i reckon it'd have to be something amazing to justify a place at the top!

People should all have their current motors in their sig at least:D

That might work but I don't think there would be new posts often enough... I think this will work quite well if people bother to look for this thread when they do spot someone.
Although maybe people will get angry pulling up an old thread???

I meant a thread where people post a pic of their car so we know what to look for. ;)

I know there's a thread of cars, but I could pass by a long line of Boardsies all flashing their lights at me, and I still wouldn't know they were Boardsie cars!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,106 ✭✭✭✭TestTransmission

Could possibly have a thread with just photos of your current car(s) and a short spiel about if if ya wish.No chat, etc.

    CiniO's car revealed :D

    Heraldic blue, 483/A ;)

Edit: I er wouldn't put a block under the sill, use the jacking points near the front subframe or the subframe itself :)

Heraldic blue beside Spring blue "azzurro sorgente"
    Image1920.jpg

The light blue car I make the odd appearance in ;)

Is this place where block is placed, not the same as all garages use to lift the car?

If you look near the subframe you'll see the square jacking point. For axle stands I'd use the subframe.

    Sills do bend.....
