Hi i was just wondering do they switch between 2w and 4wd etc in the nct? My super selector is stuck in 4wd and dose'nt want to go to 2 i had it in the dealers garage but they said as it is a jap import their computer yoke won't tell them what is wrong they said it could be a switch or sensor but they are 500 quid and they don't know if it'll fix it, all the hoses etc are fine. it's a pejero io. It is perfect other than that. It will go to 4w with the diff lock and in and out of the low box no problem it just wont disengage from 4 to 2

They should test it as a 4wd. Shouldn't be a big deal if it's behaving itself ok as a 4wd. Now, my only experience is of 4wd that engages automatically rather than being selected. But as far as I know, if the vehicle has 4wd capability thenn it is tested as a 4wd, even if should be able to make it 2wd.

I think landcruisers are constant 4wd so shouldn't be a problem

if a 4wd comes in and it can also be driven 2wd, it can be tested as 2wd, but i always test 4wd capable vehicles with the decelerometer just in case there would be a problem like above. id say it to the tester about your problem.
