Being a member of a club entitles you to shoot any lands the club has rights to.

As for which to join. God only knows. Some have "you must be from the parish" rules, others have limits to numbers of members, etc. It's also got to do with which club is most local. Most clubs prefer members that will actively work in the club. While this is not a prerequisite, it is usually preferred. So try and source a club that is local to you, within spitting distance, and something you can donate more than shooting to.

I think the NARGC has a list of clubs so maybe check there, an see what is local to you. Start from thee, and work out.

Try the one knee approach. it puts the ass at just the right height for kissing. :D

Try go in person. nothing beats a face to face, and even if a club is on the interweb doesn't mean the men running it are. They might be clueless, and it's only the secretary that sees these.

A face to face will give you a chance to talk more openly, and puts people at ease.

    /also bring flowers. :D

You will need to get to know somebody most clubs need you to be proposed and seconded.

If you have permission from farmers in the area your nearly there all it takes is for local farmer to have a chat with a club member and give you an introduction. Best of luck
