Anyone recommend a place in South Dublin or Naas to get the USB port repaired on my SGS2?

I noticed of late that the phone was often coming out my pocket either frozen, or powered off completely, then it started to think it was charging via usb when plugged in at the mains.

This morning it has given up the ghost copmpletely and wont charge (if you give the charger a wiggle at the phones port it will charge, which makes me believe its the usb port.

Any one any recommendations as to where to bring it for repair in the naas/south dublin area (I use for work, so would need it back asap)

Also, anyone any idea of a price?

    Regards, Sam Hall.

Give it a scrub with a dry toothbrush. I had the same symptoms. Scrubbed it, fine now.

Try cleaning gently with some wooden toothpicks and some alcohol. worked for me.

I had to replace mine. I did it myself with a part in got on eBay. This is probably of no use to you of you need ASAP. I tried all the cleaning tips but none worked for too long. Replacement was easy. I followed a YouTube video. I can dig out the part from my email if you need it. The part was around €10 delivered and took about 15 mins to replace.
It's a known issue with the sgs2 if you Google it.

Thanks for all the advice folks.

Phone sorted, fixed inside an hour, new port fitted (€40)
