    Hi all. I have a '02 TDDi Mondeo that I have been looking to sell for the last couple of months but after a few hiccups only getting properly started on it now. She has been lying up in driveway for about 6 months. The rear bushings were on their way out last time it was driven and twould have been about €500ish to get sorted. I tried to give her a spin the other day just to keep the home fires burning but within a minute of driving the rear driver spring snapped in half. Literally about 2" of it came bouncing off behind the car. Luckily I was still in the estate so just turned around and brought it straight back to driveway.
    My questions are:
    1)roughly how much would it be to get the rear suspension sorted;
    2)whats the car worth fixed/as is?(will be selling either way);
    3)is it safely driveable even for a mile or two to get her as far as a garage or will it have to be done in the driveway?

    P.S. Tis '02 TDDi, 135k miles, LX spec saloon

    Regards,
    Anto

    Are you planning on doing the work yourself?if so around 250 and day to fit allowing for unwanted probs.a garage will prob be 700+
    Fixed up with tax and test and in good condition 2k tops ,left as is prob 500-600.
    I wouldn't drive it at all,it will cause more damage and endanger your self and others
