ok so let me start by explaining the title. I don't like these awkward things! rant over

I've a 99 Corsa 3cylinder breaking my heart I've been all over searching online to get a decent step by step guide.

from what I've gathered I've removed the 13mm negative, a 10mm with red cable which is quite thin given its function also one other 13mm nut from the bottom. I can't for the love of it get at bolt number 3!
some say I've to remove the alt which is a challenge in itself. can someone please guide me thanks!

I can feel the nut if I reach in from top but cannot get a deep socket or anything on it. under is best access but the alternater is in the way I can't figure out how to slack the tensioner I took off the 3mounting bolts to see if it was easier. I just need access to that last bolt to take it out.

Assuming this is what you have I see just 2 mounting holes...

sorry I meant to gain access to it there is a triangular shaped engine mount on that side of the car blocking access to the tensioner as for what is said online access is via underneath. if I could move the alt I'd have room for an extension bar and "feel onto" the nut
I don't thing a crow spanner would be an advantage. I don't want to just undo the alt as I'll never get the belt back on. it also drives the camshaft from what I can see. I'll post pics later

after messing around with a deep socket I found it sadly the socket is half inch drive and my ratchet quarter! waiting on a friend to bring his over and an extension Bar about 1and half inches.
I'm fixing it up to give to the other halfs sister. literally worked round the clock to get everything done.
