wiimax problem

    Got WiMAX today the 10mb package and I'm only getting speeds up to 1MB will it get any better or my better giving it back

    talk to their tech support, and are your running wired or wireless, the Wimax router is not good at providing good wireless speeds, especially if you are in an area where there are a number of other WiFi routers from other companies.

    Had Wimax here for nearly 2 years, and overall, with the above caveats, it's been ok for both broadband and voice services.

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    In that case, the only thing you can do it talk to their tech support, they should be able to see what's going on, and get the speeds up to a sensible level.

    If you use the speed test from Hosting365 you can get a detailed analysis of upload and download. Check to see if you are getting a consistent flow at a low rate or higher speeds but with large pauses between activity.
