Anyone else have problems with the TI website - every time I try and enter a race it makes me use a new email address. I've now run out of new addresses.

No it works fine for me. Log in, it has my details, I enter stuff. The only thing it does is bounce me back to choose the race again after I log in.

I won't be whooping anyone in Kilkee as I'll just be back from a 2 week family holiday. I'll be enjoying the sights of Kilkee and Doonbeg that day ;)

HOTW Individual entries sold out already:eek:

Kilkee registration opened about 10 minutes early via Active Europe. This happens nearly every year so it's the best place to keep refreshing. Have all your details saved on Active Europe and the process becomes very quick and easy. I registered 8 this morning all before 7:55. See ye all there!

8  - Are you going to be touting entries down there

Ya Active Europe is the place to stalk - they have to have a link up and running on that site before they can link to it from their own

Is Humbert on active.com or a better site?

    So do we get a t-shirt? :)

    I'm in.

In fairness I didn't want to a Triathlon Ireland on it and say pick a t shirt size but you may or may not get a t-shirt at this race. Forgot to take it off as a required field though in the back end.

They wouldn't have had your size anyways courdelion :P

30 euros for the sprint entry and 80 for the 1/2 distance with a meal after - I am actually not from the club but I do think that's good value.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,121 ✭✭✭Fazz

Didn't make Kilkee entry as I only finished main swim set at 8:20, dashed out to phone and saw first 325 gone already.
10-15 mins is pretty impressive! Shows the reputation.
So Kilkee is my the last main race entry for me to get in for so fingers crossed at 7:45pm ill be refreshing!

March 27th at 8pm it is for me so...

I am also entered for Humbert Half and looking forward to it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,377 ✭✭✭pgibbo

Apologies for the OP and error in Mullaghmore time.

Good stuff. You done Mullaghmore before? Great race

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 20,366 Mod ✭✭✭✭RacoonQueen

How long before Humbert half will sell out. Doesn't seem to be many registered so far? If I stick it on the credit card on Monday it will go on Aprils bill instead of March. I'm OK with that. :pac:

edit: looking at caroline kearney as well but usually do a sportive that weekend so don't want to commit yet. Does CK sell out quickly?

I did it in 2010 and I still maintain it is the best Sprint distance race I have ever done. I really liked the course. A tough sea swim, a fast bike and a hilly enough run. We got a savage day for it too which helped and it also showed the area's truly beautiful surroundings. Also, it was the venue for my biggest achievement in the sport at the time...beating my tri sensei :)

It also helps to have a good mate down that direction to put me up.

Certainly wont sell out by monday anyways, you will have a few weeks I would guess

CK is a great race too. Not as much pressure on entries this year as not NS race but well worth sticking your name in the hat. I'll be doing it as long as there's nothing clashing.

Sea was like a washing machine last year, loved it! :D

Tough run, with the last km or so all up hill, no fancy pants sprint finish there, though last 200m is downhill, the legs will be ignoring you.
