Don't pay with paypal, they charge you 3% on your order, just use the bank transfer option. Its not that difficult and you don't get charged 3% :)

Edit: As for your question no I've never had the problem were the option to use paypal disappeared

Had the exact same problem whilst ordering today. Sure the transfer is easy, i just don't have the time to go to the bank.

reason it would disappear is because it is only available for small orders.
It's 500 euro orders or smaller only I think.
Not entirely clear but that's what I interpreted at least, although the description isn't really clear.

    § 6 Conditions of payment

§ 6.1 The methods of payment include cash-in-advance, cash-on-delivery, credit card (in the case of a first-time purchase, payment by credit card is limited to a goods value of 500 EUR), online remittance, Checkout by Amazon (cba), PayPal, financing or, for business customers, by invoice. We reserve the right to refuse certain methods of payment. We charge a fee of 3% on the value of the goods being shipped for payment by PayPal, Checkout by Amazon (cba) or by credit card.

Bank transfer can be easily done with online banking if you don't have time to go to the bank.

I paid just over €1,000 through PayPal with them last month, so I don't think it's that.

Just checked the receipt and it cost me €31.62 @ 3%. Not too bad considering the saving over Amazon or local or whatever.
