Hi folks, I'm wondering if anyone can help with this. I'm finding it hard to find any good HIT cardio training plans online. I'm a 5 day a week gym regular, but lately 5 to 10 k runs, half hours on crosstrainer etc before weights does not seem to be burning anymore of that last bit of belly fat.

I have seen HIT training seems to be the way to go, but does anyone know of any good sites where I can get a plan?

Also I'm looking for high intensity weights exercises too I can do instead of isolated exercises so I can work more muscles at a time.

    Thanks hope somebody can help.

You diet will take care of your last belly fat.....

I cant comment on running or cross training hiit because i dont do it!

Tabata dumbell thrusters are what your after for intensity imo....but fair warning, when i do them i end up on the floor in the recovery position muttering "theres no place like home";)

To be honest my diet I fairly good, porridge, wholewheat bagley and Turkey before training, hour a day at lunch in the gym, and apple and banana after and a normal dinner. Although at weekends I have my few pints and Chipper! I know before anyone tells me! Lol.

Hanks for the tabata advice, iv heard of this and I'm definitely going to look into that.

Can you rhrow up the full diet...whats included in a "normal" dinner

I like porridge but if i were you id start the day on eggs and then do the porridge and banana after your workout.

If your looking to shred the belly then id steer well away from the bagel...make that all wheat!! even stuff that tries to pretend its not wheat..like spelt...if its soft and doughy dont eat it...or you will be soft and doughy;)

My normal 5 day routine is porridge for breakfast. Wholewheat bagle with turkey beetroot and tomatoes at 10.30. Gym from 12.30 to 1.30. Apple and banana after training. Dinner consists of your everyday sit down family dinner. Stew one dy, lasagne the next etc. Most foods at home are one the good side for example whole wheat pasta, brown rice, light foods I always encourage my partner to by, for the kids health too.

I do as I said treat myself to a fish and chips once a week and a few pints but that's just living lol.

I'm 31 5ft 8, 175 lbs and bmi is just under average AFAIK. Hitting the gym everyday at lunch break for the last two years and one and off lunch breaks for a year before that.

My knee is beginning to give a bit of trouble so I'm trying to stay away from the long runs and really burn that last bit of stubbornfat

How did you calculate BMI? According to online calculator Mike Tyson was clinically obese. More realistic to calculate body fat% with calipers.
There are treadmill ones floating about if you google.
Cross trainer use the buttons on the side and push yourself, like do a minute near the highest level and a mid range rest minute. After 20/25 minutes you should be wrecked with a good sweat.

Your diet is your issue with remaining belly fat!
Its wheat laden with tiny amounts of protein and good fats.
Keep training, study up on good nutritional advice and the belly fat will go.
