Heading to Mayrhofen in two weeks with a group of 7 beginners, anyone have any advice on whats the best way to sort out lessons or recommend a ski school?

I've been told 5 days tuition is a must, but will this mean we'll be stuck on the same slopes for the week without getting to explore?

Also any advice on deals with the lift pass?

    Cheers!!

Lift Passes are not dicounted anywhere unless your TO has some kind of deal or your accomidation.

As for the ski school, if you improve you will not be stuck on the same slope they will take you around the resort and it is easy to get around as there are easy slopes linking each section

For the Ski School try Roy Butterfield at WW.ZILLERTHRILLER.COM. Top bloke & really knows what he is at.

Cool, sent him a mail there, was he expensive?

He is fairly comparable to most of the ski schools in the area without the language barrier. Although most of the ski schools in Mayrhofen are excellent, with the likes of SMT you will rarely go wrong.

Roy will put something together based on your group and requirements and will tailor something more specific than a generic few days instruction.

Cool, cheers for that! :) I've contacted a few places, the ski school 300 place has a good offer but has had some dubious reviews online! Any opinions?

Have never used them but there are a few on here that have, standard Austiran fare and would be suprised if they were shockingly bad?

SkiSchule 3000 are reccomended by Where to ski and snowboard if that is any help?
