If I picked a top class jockey and if they lost the first race (betting win only), I would double the next bet, provided the race is even money or better,I wouldkeep backing the same jockey until I won so the following would be the trend
race 1 odds 2/1 bet €2 race lost
race 2 odds 4/1 bet €4 race lost
race 3 odds 3/1 bet €8 race lost
race 4 odds 4/1 bet €16 race lost
race 5 odds 1/1 bet €32 race won

so I win 32 euro and have spent 30 euro and I start back with a 2 euro bet again doubling the stake util I win again. Is this a winning formula and has anyone done this previously.

Think some young lad called Martin Gale tried it once. He's a multi-millionaire now and is selling his system to gamblers everywhere.

It's no wonder bookmakers are going out of business.
