Currently Living in donegal looking for work but want to move to sligo as there are more opportunities in my degree discipline in this area.

Is there a delay in transferring your payment or does it happen immediately. What would be the process to do this?

When you move to the new area you would need to go to the new office and provide them with prroof of address (tenancy agreement, bank statement etc)and photo ID and they will request the claim from the old office. There could be a delay of 2 weeks it really depends on how long it takes to get the claim to the new office. While you are waiting you can go to the Community Welfare Officer to get payment until the transfer it processed.
