Hi guys lost my phone so going back to my old HTC desire, haven't tinkered around with an android phone in ages so I'm completely lost. It appears to be running leedroid 3.0.8.2, would anyone be able to recommend a good reasonably up to date ROM to me and provide some simple instructions on how to put it on my phone? Thanks

For speed and stability whilst being as up to date as possible, I suggest CM7.2 - don't forget you need Gapps too (flash after the ROM). Both links below:

There is no doubt a newer version of LeeDroid which is one of the better custom versions of Sense but a vanilla Android experience here will keep things spritely as it is an old phone. Use LauncherPro instead of ADW Launcher too for a better real time experience. I paid for a keycode years ago that I never use I will share if you want :)

    Install instructions:

1 - Hold Power, select Reboot, then Recovery.
2 - In Recovery, select Wipe Cache and Data.
3 - Once done, select install ZIP from SD Card and browse to your ROM you downloaded.
4 - Once done, select install ZIP from SD Card and browse to your Gapps you downloaded.
5 - Select Reboot and give it 60 seconds to boot and set it up.
