Temporary car insurance

Is it possible to buy temporary car insurance in ireland? Having just bought another car, I moved my existing policy over (with Liberty insurance). the would not cover both cars at the same time, even temporarily. They suggested I get temp insurance cover elsewhere, and I assumed it was easy, but now I cannot find anywhere. Any ideas? It is only for a few days while I sell the car.

I presume anyone who test drives it needs to be insured, but is this enough?

I don't think anyone does temp cover...you will have to get a policy that's pay by the month and cancel when finished

    Quoting here
Can I get Insurance for a few weeks?

It's not something that is offered in Ireland really however the EU have changes coming down the line on this. Most insurers will only write 12 month policies. This doesn't mean that you can't incept a policy and then cancel when you don't need it any more. This may attract an admin fee and the refund given will be on a pro rata basis.

They've got a forum here for you to complain if you wish.

Nobody seems to really use it so i am sure they'd welcome the feedback. :)
